If you're apart of the junior golf world, you've heard the name Jackson Koivun numerous times. This year has started off no differently. The current No. 1 ranked junior golfer in the world, and Auburn commit has started 2023 off great.
The year began at the Jones Cup Invitational where he tied for 6th, and shot rounds of 70-71-71. Earlier this month Koivun participated in the Dustin Johnson World Junior, and took home a major win. He shot 5-under par, finishing above Rowan Sullivan and Maxmilian Jelinek. Most recently, Koivun placed 6th at the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley, a prestigious junior golf tournament out of Graniteville, South Carolina.
The Auburn commit is no stranger to the top of the leaderboard, with wins at the Rolex Tournament of Champions, Jack Burke Jr. Invitational, Dustin Johnson World Junior, and the Northern California Junior Championship
